If you are in Washington this weekend you must take a trip to Rattlesnake Lake near North Bend for this “Outdoor Extravaganza”. This is a family friendly event put on by the Washington Trail Association with help from many sponsors such as REI, Outdoor Research, Marmot & Gregory (among others).
There are dozens of educational sessions from Walking with Kids to Creating your own ideal backpacking system. Don’t miss “The North Cascade’s are Calling” put on by the The Wilderness Society and North Cascades National Park.
Between classes browse through an impressive array of exhibitors, Here is a short list of gear manufacturers that will be present:
